WHAT IS MINDSET ?
Mindset is an organizational mental wellness program. Users wear heart rate monitors to track their own stress, and download a smartphone application. The Mindset app notifies users of high stress and gives them simple exercises to do about it throughout their day. The Mindset curriculum educates users weekly about the latest and greatest in self regulation and emotional intelligence.
WHY DO I NEED MINDSET?
Stress damages health, productivity, and happiness. In an organization, stressed, unhealthy individuals are toxic to culture and slow progress. The Mindset program trains users to understand and self-regulate their resilience. It addresses both the physiology and the psychology of stress.
There are certain instances of "good stress" known as eustress such as exercising, getting married or completing a rewarding project. "Bad stress" or distress can be associated with poor health outcomes. It turns out that we can change the effect of stress on our body by how we perceive our stress. Mindset monitors the affect of stress on your body and provides tools to transform distress into eustress.
